Giacomo Goattin's molding erases the shape of the body. In her collections, structure presses down on the body and binds it. Leather forms are clamped onto the torso, or a wheeled structure bearing a person is dragged along. This pressure is not decoration. It is a form born out of her experience as a trans woman.
