Trained as a marine biologist, Ken Samudio creates beaded pieces inspired by coral reefs and deep-sea life. Strange, luminous colors. Alien forms. His work feels like a fragment of the ocean floor lifted intact. Named to Vogue Talents in 2014, he has since collaborated with global brands including Swarovski and Tiffany & Co., carrying the world he found in the sea to a far wider audience. Handcrafted alongside local Filipino artisans, each piece holds the beauty of the marine ecosystem within it.
