Swiss performance running brand On is opening its first standalone store in South Korea, On Store Hannam, on March 12 in Seoul's Hannam-dong district. Moving beyond department store counters, this marks the brand's first independent road-shop, designed with inspiration drawn from Seoul's urban night running culture.
The store architecturally reinterprets Hannam-dong's nocturnal landscape. A mesh façade and moiré pattern lighting evoke the nighttime glow of the Han River, while the interior's fluid circulation follows the rhythm and movement of runners. The entire space visually embodies the essence of running itself.
A notable feature is the basement-level Run Hub, a dedicated community space that transcends traditional retail. This hub will serve as a gathering point for Seoul's running community, demonstrating On's commitment to cultivating running culture beyond product sales.
Concurrent with the opening, On will launch the LightSpray Cloudmonster 3 Hyper and Cloudmonster 3. For Hannam-dong runners who start their routes after Anthracite Coffee Roasters closes for the night, On Store Hannam promises to become a new starting point for nocturnal runs through the city.
