Japanese Footwear Brand grounds Opens Third Seoul Pop-Up

Japanese footwear brand grounds has opened its third pop-up store in Seoul at PDF SEOUL in Itaewon. Running from June 3 to June 10, the pop-up showcases the brand's SS26 collection, first unveiled at its Paris presentation last year, alongside signature models that have defined grounds' distinctive aesthetic.

Known for pushing the boundaries of footwear with jelly-like translucent materials and sculptural silhouettes, grounds has transformed the pop-up space into an immersive environment. Colorful shoe sculptures suspended from the ceiling and mounted on walls create a dreamlike landscape where footwear appears to float in mid-air. The installation extends beyond product display to embody the brand's playful imagination and experimental spirit.

The pop-up also features limited-edition capsule toys and art pieces that reflect the brand's creative universe. It's an opportunity to experience grounds' unique blend of experimental design and whimsical storytelling firsthand. Located at 16 Noksapyeong-daero 32-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, this week-long activation invites visitors to explore a world where footwear transcends function to become wearable art.
