SONGZIO, one of Korea's leading designer brands, unveiled its 24FW collection 'NIGHT THIEVES' at Paris Fashion Week on the 19th.
Following last season, the collection was once again presented in the 'ORBE NY ET TROIS CONVERSATIONS' hall of the contemporary art museum Palais de Tokyo. Known for dramatic staging and overwhelming scale each season, SONGZIO captivated the dark Parisian night with a collection of striking intensity.
Presented under the title 'NIGHT THIEVES', the collection portrays SONGZIO's antiheroes, the thieves of the night. The designs draw inspiration from a painting of Prometheus, condemned to divine punishment for stealing the fire the gods had hidden away and offering it to mankind.
Emphasizing SONGZIO's distinctive Eastern silhouette, the collection is defined by sculptural, elegant lines and volume. Garments layered with multiple panels of fabric read like armor in stillness and billow dynamically in motion, leaving a lasting impression.
The collaborative shoes, uniting SONGZIO's avant-garde design with Reebok's dynamic style, are set to launch in June 2024.
