Italian textile manufacturer Vitale Barberis Canonico (V.B.C.), with over 360 years of history, has collaborated with Korean menswear brand MAN ON THE BOON. The partnership was unveiled on November 6 at MAN ON THE BOON's Cheongdam flagship store. An editor from visited the presentation. Founded in 1663, V.B.C. has supplied wool and cashmere fabrics to luxury brands worldwide. MAN ON THE BOON reinterpreted classic tailoring with a modern lens using these materials.

The showcased looks consisted of double-breasted coats, structured jackets, and relaxed-silhouette trousers. Every piece utilized premium materials including wool and cashmere. The coats maintained classic lines while adding contemporary sensibility through generous silhouettes. Jackets displayed a structured fit with defined shoulders and chest lines. Trousers stood out with their relaxed wide silhouettes.

Styling details included hunting caps and scarves that caught the eye. Hunting caps were crafted from the same fabrics, creating cohesion across the looks. Scarves were loosely draped around the neck or laid over shoulders for a layered effect. These details made traditional tailoring feel approachable for everyday wear. MAN ON THE BOON is a brand that respects classical techniques while embracing contemporary sensibility.

The presentation took place inside MAN ON THE BOON's Cheongdam flagship store. Several mannequins were arranged in a dedicated space within the store. Each mannequin displayed a full look combining coats, jackets, trousers, and accessories. Visitors could examine the fabric textures and precision of the cuts up close. It was a reminder that the essence of tailoring ultimately lies in fabric and fit.
