Cacti have bloomed in Dior's garden. For the Fall 2026 Paris Couture Week, Creative Director Jonathan Anderson kept the maison's beloved flowers intact while placing thorny cacti beside them. Ferns filled the runway, and sculptural metal bags created in collaboration with artist Lynda Benglis proved how resilient elegance can be.
What Anderson changed wasn't Dior's flowers themselves, but the way we see them. Rather than simply reproducing the archives, he reinterpreted them in his own language, focusing not on beauty alone but on the strength that sustains it.
