adidas Originals and BLACKPINK's Jennie are launching 'adidas Originals by JENNIE,' with the first drop arriving September 1. The debut piece reimagines the brand's iconic Superstar sneaker through Jennie's signature balletcore lens.
The newly unveiled Superstar fuses Jennie's girlish aesthetic with the classic silhouette. Available in black and white, the sneakers feature cross straps inspired by ballet slippers layered over the upper. The original shell toe has been redesigned into a square shape, while adidas' signature 3-Stripes run along the side in contrasting black. In the lookbook shot by Jennie herself, the sneakers are styled with tonal ribbed knitwear separates in matching hues.
Through this collaboration, adidas merges Jennie's personal style with the brand's heritage DNA. Balletcore has been a recurring theme in Jennie's wardrobe over recent years. Additional pieces from the collection and retail information will be announced closer to the official launch.
