McDonald's dropped its Golden Arches alongside a single daisy on its official Instagram, with nothing but "COMING SOON." No names attached, but the hint points straight to G-DRAGON. The BIGBANG leader and solo artist has long used the daisy as his signature symbol. McDonald's yellow and GD's daisy already align in color—an effortless visual match. Communities are buzzing even before any official confirmation.
What the collaboration entails remains under wraps—whether it's a menu, merch, or something else entirely. McDonald's has previously teamed up with global artists like BTS and Travis Scott to launch signature meal sets. G-DRAGON could follow a similar route, offering a burger set infused with his taste. The key lies in how his aesthetic translates—from packaging design to side menu selection.
G-DRAGON has been active across music, fashion, and art in recent months. Known for collaborations with Nike, Chanel, and other luxury houses, he's now linking up with a fast-food chain. His ability to move seamlessly between luxury and street, high and low, shows up once again in this pairing.
We'll wait a bit longer to see how McDonald's serves up GD's daisy. Menu details, packaging design, and launch dates are still to come. Are you anticipating this collaboration?
