CSM Student SinTheology Turns Sound into Wearable Form

Central Saint Martins second-year student SinTheology (@no_way_i_am_gonna_cry) is pioneering a unique design philosophy that transforms invisible sound into visible, tangible form. By utilizing sound frequencies and hertz, she creates distinctive outlines and structures that expand auditory experiences into visual and tactile dimensions.

Her work incorporates actual music equipment components—speaker cones, knobs, and buttons—into garments, achieving a mechanical yet high-tech aesthetic. Her recent look features large speakers mounted on translucent materials, balancing functionality with futuristic sensibility. The addition of sailor collars and striped details creates a dialogue between uniform-like elements and technological experimentation.
