AMOMENTO unveiled its FW26 collection at Shanghai Fashion Week this past March. The collection takes inspiration from the traditional Korean yangjangjeom, tailor shops that specialized in Western-style clothing. The time spent selecting fabric, cutting patterns, and finishing each garment by hand now flows into AMOMENTO's new design language.
The core of this collection lies in reinterpreting Western tailoring through an Eastern aesthetic. Vintage references from old tailor shops and Oriental elements are filtered through AMOMENTO's restrained design vocabulary. The collection focuses on disappearing spaces and traditional methods of making, bringing together heritage and modernity in a single garment.
The collection will first debut at The Hyundai Seoul store on August 27, followed by AMOMENTO's official online store, Seochon flagship, Hannam store, and all other locations from September 1.
