The concept began with model. Her distinctive features and almost avian facial quality became the starting point for an exploration of transformation through fashion, movement, and silhouette. Rather than depicting a bird literally, the editorial translates the visual and psychological qualities of birds into the human form. The bird becomes a metaphor, not a costume.
