Skreem is an LA-based makeup artist and founder of SKREEM Beauty. Born Kiersten Harvey in Atlanta, she's now a name Hollywood celebrities line up for. In her hands, lips turn into animal prints and cheeks are topped with neon spikes and chunky charms. There's rarely a set plan. She reads the person in front of her, from their outfit and the music in the room to the conversation and even their aura, and freestyles from there.

Skreem was a child star in the singing group L.O.U.D. She fell for the makeup artists who got her ready, and by around 14 she was recreating their looks at home. She describes her makeup as unorthodox, glamorous and camp. The goal isn't shock value but making what's already yours more vivid.

Her connection with North West began suddenly. A call from Kim Kardashian's team asking if she could fly to Paris within 24 hours brought her to the Vetements SS27 show. She took North's love of piercings and gothic moods and transformed her into a pink creature for Halloween. Skreem's work also appeared on the Daisy Chain Fields stage for Doechi, turning the dancers' bodies into full-body pink canvases.

For Skreem, beauty means freedom. It's a way to express yourself through glam without saying a word. Her Instagram is filled with scenes where fluorescent hues, prints and sculptural ornaments dance across faces. Can you paint today's mood on your face freely, just like Skreem?
