Spanish luxury house LOEWE has unveiled a special anniversary campaign and capsule collection to celebrate its 180th anniversary in 2026. Founded in 1846 as a small leather workshop in Madrid, LOEWE has evolved over nearly two centuries into a global creative house, honoring its history with craftsmanship and leather heritage at its core.
The 180th anniversary campaign was photographed by Talia Chetrit and features a diverse, multi-generational cast including actors Julia Garner, Salma Abu-Deif, aespa's Giselle, Hong Kong action star Kara Wai, Sissy Spacek, and artist Kara Walker. The campaign reinterprets LOEWE's legacy in a contemporary manner through art, imagination, and the brand's signature playful sensibility.
A highlight of the collection is the reimagined "Amazona 180," LOEWE's iconic bag first introduced in 1975. The bag has been updated with a softer silhouette that reflects a renewed sense of modernity while remaining true to the brand's 180-year heritage. Through this campaign, LOEWE reaffirms its identity as a brand where past and present, tradition and innovation, coexist harmoniously.
