JISOO has opened the door to her first full-length album with the pre-release single 'CLICK.' Sharp synths, deep bass and a taut beat form the backbone, pressing the intensity of a fleeting moment into every bar. It marks a clear departure from the warmer tone she once favoured. The sound here is cold, purposeful and instant.
This version of JISOO is noticeably colder and bolder than before. Her voice sits low in the mix while the beat tightens around it. The signal is clear: she has stripped away the warmth and replaced it with a cool, unflinching attitude. The first full album is on the horizon, and 'CLICK' sets the tone.
The video relies solely on her gaze and gesture to command the mood. She places clips in her hair one by one, eyes fixed beyond the frame. The cityscape at sunset forms the only backdrop. It is a minimal approach that lets the song's tension speak for itself.
If this is the first piece of her debut album, the rest becomes even more intriguing. JISOO has already shown multiple facets as a soloist. With 'CLICK,' she has chosen the coldest and most linear of them all to lead the way. Do you agree with the direction she has taken?
