Model Alex Consani stepped out in a custom mini dress made by rising designer Macy Grimshaw. Styling was handled by Harry Lambert. The dress is built from layer upon layer of paper shopping tags. Each tag is printed with a fragment of a close-up selfie of Consani's face. Step closer, and the model's face appears scattered like pieces of a puzzle.

Macy Grimshaw is an emerging designer. Lambert has worked with her on custom looks for Harry Styles and Paloma Elsesser since her master's days. He called Grimshaw's ideas "just so unique." The notion of turning a single selfie into something to wear is what sets her apart.

The dress is composed entirely of paper tags. Each tag carries a different portion of the selfie. The selfie is fragmented, yet it reconvenes into one face across the dress. A digital image transformed into a physical object.

Lambert has styled numerous celebrity red-carpet looks. His collaboration with Grimshaw dates back to her time in graduate school. This dress, too, is a one-off piece made exclusively for Consani. Grimshaw's imagination shines once again.
