PARALLEL은 흑백 세피아 톤의 농밀한 입자감 속에서 중세 갑옷과 현대 미니멀리즘이 교차하는 지점을 포착한다. 목을 감싸는 은빛 메탈 네크피스는 플레이트 아머의 고르제(gorget)를 연상시키는데, 그 분절된 고리들이 피부와 만나며 방어와 장식의 경계를 흐린다. 얼굴을 따라 흐르는 백색 페인트 드립은 눈물처럼 보이지만 동시에 전사의 문양처럼 읽히며, 코 피어싱과 귓볼의 두툼한 후프 이어링이 이 이중성을 강화한다. 스튜디오 배경의 텍스처는 낡은 프레스코화를 닮았고, 그 위에 드리운 그림자는 인물을 고전 초상화 속 성인(saint)처럼 고립시킨다. 바닥에 앉아 손을 모은 포즈에서 금속 숄더 아머와 드레이프진 다크 패브릭이 만나며, 기도와 전투 준비라는 두 시간대가 한 프레임 안에 병존한다.

PARALLEL suspends its subject between epochs, pairing sculpted metal gorgets with minimal studio lighting rendered in sepia-grain monochrome. The segmented neck piece—its rings of tarnished silver wrapping the throat—recalls plate armour's protective collars, yet sits against bare shoulders with the ease of contemporary jewellery. White paint trails down the cheekbones and nose like ritual markings or slow tears, punctuated by septum and hoop piercings that anchor the face in the present. The mottled studio backdrop reads as aged fresco or weathered plaster, its soft vignette isolating the figure in the manner of Renaissance portraiture. In one frame the model kneels, hands clasped, shoulder armour catching diffuse light beside voluminous dark fabric; the gesture hovers between prayer and combat readiness, and the grain itself—coarse, archival—erases the boundary between document and myth.
