Im Auftaktbild fängt ein tiefgesättigtes pinkfarbenes Kleid, dessen Oberfläche dicht mit Fransen besetzt ist, das Licht ein, während es sich durch goldene Halme und gläserne Tümpel bewegt – unter der Sonne beinahe lebendig. Eine zweite Komposition vor einem Feld aus vertrocknetem Mais führt ein farbgeblocktes Slip-Dress in Olivgrün, Cremeweiß und orangefarbenen Trägern ein, dessen horizontale Teilungen an modernistische Malerei erinnern.
