Lashes escape the face like loose threads from porcelain. A blue-grey iris is held between upper and lower fringes that no longer frame but protrude — black filaments stretching across the cheek in deliberate disorder. The close-up reveals skin so luminous it reads as ceramic, yet every pore and fine hair remains visible, grounding the artifice in flesh. Against a golden backdrop elsewhere in the series, a figure in a nude second-skin dress assumes a sculptural stillness, her blunt fringe and doll-like gaze undermined by those same errant lashes.
