Hija — Cover

Hija

Do you feel emotions? Do you feel pain? Are you kidding? Act like a fool. Wear a mask. Be yourself. Your loneliness will last etcetera etcetera. Shot in Saint Petersburg two months ago, Hija is a dialogue between performance and self — a series of questions with no answers, only gestures. Stylist and art director Borya builds each frame as a confrontation: mask versus face, role versus truth, loneliness as both costume and condition. The editorial refuses resolution. It holds the tension.
