BOYS

A portrait in stations: the same subject crosses through imagined night wearing different identities—bare body, tailored dandy, monastic figure, made-up sailor, dissolving finally into a suspended, painterly image. Masculinity is treated as construct, not essence. Inspiration drawn from Flemish portraiture, '80s-'90s Polaroid aesthetics, deconstruction of gender codes in menswear uniform, the theme of the double as mirror of identity.
