Seven-member group TUIDE has debuted with their first EP 〈TUNE & PLAY〉 and title track "SUN KISS." Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea, and Hanee mark their arrival with a wave carved over Iceland's icy sensibility. Against black sands, towering waterfalls, and stark landscapes, the seven members run free. The video captures the temperature of time as blazing summer sun slowly fades. It's hard to imagine a better soundtrack for the season's end.
The name TUIDE comes from the word Tune. Like tuning instruments, the group aligns seven distinct personalities into one chord. Each member brings a different background, yet before Iceland's raw nature they read as a single collective. Every scene flows with a tuned rhythm: footsteps crossing black sand beaches, eyes meeting before waterfalls, hair scattering in the wind.
Title track "SUN KISS" captures the moment sunlight grazes skin like a kiss. The sensation of hot light touching flesh and the twilight emotion of that light cooling down runs through the entire song. Iceland's landscape becomes the visual stage translating this feeling. The contradictory pairing of cold Nordic air and warm sunlight creates TUIDE's signature color.
Debut EP 〈TUNE & PLAY〉 signals the group's direction through two words: Tune and Play. Music where perfectly aligned harmony and free performance coexist. TUIDE found this balance within Iceland's extreme scenery. As summer fades, dive into the first wave TUIDE has tuned. What music do you want to hear at this season's end?
