Paris-based designer Mathis Ruffier-Meray's XXXTREME SHIRT project deconstructs and reconstructs the traditional concept of shirting. Compressing extreme size ratios from XXXS to XXXL within a single garment, this work dismantles the conventional boundaries of garment scale and proposes fashion as sculptural form.
Unveiled in a white-cube setting, the pink garment features exaggerated shoulders and voluminous puffed sleeves inspired by courtly dress. Bold black diagonal stripes function not merely as decoration but as visual devices that emphasise the garment's architectural structure.
