EENK Brings Korean Traditional Aesthetics to Paris

Korean brand EENK presented its 'A for Aesthetics' collection in Paris, introducing the beauty of Korean traditional aesthetics to the global stage. The collection serves as an homage to the traditional aesthetics rooted in Korea, seeking harmony between contemporary sensibility and heritage.

At the heart of the collection are intricate details inspired by Korean carved decorative boards, the wrapping forms of Bojagi (traditional Korean wrapping cloth), and ornamental knots. A romantic color palette resembling nature stands out, with pastel-toned pleated materials contrasting against black, offering a modern interpretation of Korean sentiment. The translucent layered structures evoke the overlapping nature of Bojagi, attempting to dissolve the boundaries between tradition and modernity.

For this season, EENK collaborated with artist Nina Kolchitskaia to showcase eye-catching prints. The brand's new trajectory, infused with Korean flavor and style, is being recognized as a meaningful step in expanding K-fashion's identity within the global fashion scene.
