London-based design duo Chopova Lowena delivered an unexpected collision of eras with their Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Merging the untamed spirit of the Victorian Wild West with the glittering exuberance of 1980s and '90s Olympic rhythmic gymnastics, the collection redefines modern eclecticism through layered textures, bold prints, and anarchic accessories.

Drawing inspiration from female folk heroines like Annie Oakley and rhythmic gymnasts across decades, the designers transformed their signature carabiner-suspended, knife-pleated skirts into comprehensive head-to-toe looks. Smock-like Victoriana blouses, tiered petticoats, and studded boots formed the foundation, while surreal accessories—toy horse necklaces and garden-center butterfly embellishments on Asics trainers—added a playful, rebellious edge that challenges conventional styling.

The sensory experience extended beyond visuals, with floral perfumes made from Bulgarian rose oil wafting through the presentation space.
