Apple has unveiled its first-ever touchscreen MacBook Pro in Mac history. Officially launching on November 6, the new model comes in 14-inch and 16-inch options, with prices starting at KRW 4.79 million. Setting a new standard for display performance, the device enables pro users to interact with content more intuitively, from manipulating 3D models to playing instruments directly on the screen. It also introduces Dynamic Island to the Mac for the first time, seamlessly integrating Spotlight, Live Activities, and Siri AI features.
The redesign is thinner and lighter, powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max chips that deliver outstanding performance. Battery life reaches up to 24 hours, a standout feature designed for extended professional workflows. Performance and portability, finally in one package.
Perhaps most exciting is the return of the illuminated Apple logo. The glowing logo was once an iconic design element of the MacBook line. Its comeback reads as more than a design tweak — it's a reassertion of brand identity. Long-time fans will likely welcome the return.
The touchscreen introduction marks a major shift in Apple's stance. For years, the company maintained that touch was not suited for macOS. This decision appears to reflect evolving pro workflows and user demand. What do you think of the new touchscreen MacBook?
