ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1) has released the cinema cuts for their single 'Talk to me.' The track is from their second mini album 'UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST,' and marks the next phase of their follow-up promotions. The cinema cuts capture a dreamy mood, like a scene lifted from a film. Blue lighting, damp-looking hair, and chiseled profiles draw the eye. The gaze and expression of each figure hint at a narrative beneath the surface.
'Talk to me' is an indie alt-pop track that blends refreshing synths with an R&B groove. The synths create a crisp surface, while the R&B groove lays a sensual current underneath. These two textures layer to give the song a distinctive grain. ALD1 is showcasing a new musical spectrum with this track.
The music video will be released on October 27. Since the cinema cuts already hint at cinematic visuals, the full video is expected to deliver a more complete story. Lighting, composition, and color grading all follow cinematic grammar. ALD1's follow-up promotions have only just begun.
The second mini album 'UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST' carries the theme of 'the unbreakable boy.' Both the title track and the follow-up unpack that narrative in different ways. ALD1 is building a consistent world across music and visuals alike. Which side of ALD1 are you most looking forward to?
