“Watch Me Fly”는 하나의 재탄생에 대한 이야기다.
한 소녀가 네온빛과 왜곡된 음악, 화학적 황홀감으로 가득한 자신만의 밤의 지옥 속을 떠돈다. 그녀는 자신을 끌어내리는 것과 위로 이끄는 것 사이에서 길을 잃는다.
처음 그녀는 무너진 세계 아래 깔린 듯, 아스팔트 위에 연약하고 멍한 상태로 누워 있다. 하지만 천천히 스스로에게 날개를 그려나가기 시작한다. 그것은 실제의 날개가 아니라 먼지와 욕망, 그리고 실수들로 이루어진 상상의 날개다.
그 날개는 아직 완전히 도달하지 못한 자유와 탈출의 가능성을 상징한다. 이야기는 컬러와 인공 조명, 놀이기구와 글리터, 황홀감이 뒤섞인 소용돌이 속으로 이어진다. 가장 찬란하면서도 공허한 순간, 가벼움은 환상이 된다.
그리고 추락이 찾아온다. 몸은 무너지고 피부는 갈라지며, 그 틈 사이로 마침내 무언가가 자라나기 시작한다. 두 개의 돌기, 두 개의 진실에 대한 약속처럼.
이제 날개는 진짜가 된다.
그녀는 다시 일어나 걷고, 비틀거리며, 날아오르기를 시도한다.
절벽 앞에 선 그녀는 아래를 내려다본다. 다시 반복되는 루프로 돌아갈 것인가, 아니면 진정으로 날아오를 것인가.
도시의 침묵 속에서, 공중에 유령처럼 떠 있는 순간, 그녀는 마침내 답을 찾는다.
“Watch Me Fly”는 중독과 자각, 그리고 해방에 대한 시각적 우화다. 머물 것인지, 다시 태어날 것인지를 배우기 전까지 반복되는 하나의 순환에 대한 이야기다.
"Watch Me Fly" is a story of rebirth.
A girl drifts through a nocturnal hell of her own, filled with neon light, distorted music, and chemical euphoria. She loses her way between what drags her down and what pulls her upward.
At first she lies on the asphalt, fragile and dazed, as if pinned beneath a collapsed world. But slowly she begins to draw wings onto herself. Not real wings, but imagined ones made of dust, desire, and mistakes.
Those wings stand for a freedom and an escape not yet fully within reach. The story spirals on through color and artificial light, fairground rides, glitter, and euphoria. At its most radiant and most hollow moment, lightness becomes an illusion.
Then comes the fall. The body gives way, the skin cracks, and through those fissures something finally begins to grow. Two protrusions, like the promise of two truths.
Now the wings are real.
She rises again, walks, stumbles, and attempts flight.
Standing before a cliff, she looks down. Return to the loop that keeps repeating, or truly take flight?
In the silence of the city, suspended in the air like a ghost, she finally finds her answer.
"Watch Me Fly" is a visual fable about addiction, awakening, and liberation. It is the story of a cycle that repeats itself until she learns whether to stay or to be born again.
