This studio editorial translates the lifecycle of a tree into human gesture and form. Against a cool slate-blue backdrop, a figure extends limbs skyward in poses that mirror the bare branches of a weathered dead tree standing beside them as silent companion. Olive-green knitwear and trousers echo the palette of bark and moss, while the overall colour scheme — earth, ash, and twilight — unifies the frame in muted organic tones. In a second frame, a deeply pleated coral-orange fabric wraps the torso like rings of accumulated time, its texture evoking the folds of a trunk, while cobalt-blue tights beneath provide chromatic contrast and a pulse of vitality. Featuring contributions from Yang Han, Yimu, Yu He, Xiaoshanjiao, Sakura, Pin Artists, Hai Lun, Simon Hu, and Lisi Fan, the work distills the concept that human and plant share a single arc of existence — growth, decay, and dignity in stillness. The compositions are contemplative yet potent, leaving an impression of quiet reverence for the passage of time.
