Scattered

We're becoming a mouthless species, forced as we are to wear our masks in public all the time. With our mouth and the tip of our nose, we lost a large amount of our non-verbal communication power. Eyes are now, more than ever, the "mirrors of our soul", to them we delegate the whole communication of our emotions, thoughts, and dreams. But what happens when our souls have been shattered by these events and we feel scattered? We decided to explore the fashion side of this concept with a beauty shooting that is founded on three pillars. The first, is the make-up, creating white faces with complex and rich eyes. The second is the use of saturated colors, which show our scattered and conflicting emotions. The third is the use of prisms, to get the effects of fragmentation, repetition, and disintegration of the images. We chose six looks, two graphic, one wet and saturated, one matte and saturated, and two shiny and textured. The six looks are focused on the eyes make-up, keeping the rest of the face white and expressionless. It has all been shot using colored gelatins and prisms to get the effects of fragmentation, repetition, and disintegration of the images.
