Kill the fish

A mermaid caught in an aquamarine pool stares back with glacial defiance, her silhouette part lace bondage, part iridescent tail—closer to dystopia than fairy tale. The narrative shifts to monochrome suiting on dry land, where two women stage a tableau of dominance and surrender in razor-sharp tailoring. Out of water, the creature no longer pleads; she conquers.
