As its title suggests, this editorial excavates the fracture between self and projected image, channeling the psychological tension of body dysmorphic perception. The opening scene stages an infinite loop of the same figure, each profile seated in rhythmic succession, dressed in sheer white blouses and mint-green paisley trousers that catch the cold studio light in a hypnotic, clinical cadence. The second image pivots sharply into shadow: black tulle skirts billow beneath a metallic silver jacket, layered with translucent organza that doubles the figure against itself, as if caught between mirror and memory. The shift from cool aqua-toned backdrops to deep grey architectural voids visually maps the distance between recognition and distortion.
