Voluminous white feather boa encircles the neck and shoulders, while a streak of red paint across the cheek disrupts the pose of a nineteenth-century portrait in an atelier flooded with soft daylight through grid windows. In the second frame, a body bends backward mid-air, long lace-up patent leather boots anchoring the legs as a cropped ruffle blouse and black leggings marry elegance with acrobatic tension.
