Raw Expressionism

Sirine Aouididi entlehnt die Strukturen der Vintage-Haute-Couture – skulpturale Hutkrempen, voluminöse schwarze Mäntel – und verwandelt sie durch dramatisches Schattenspiel und kompromisslose Silhouetten in theatralen Expressionismus. Jedes Detail, von geometrischen Broschen bis zu kaskadenförmigem Schmuck, liest sich weniger als Dekoration denn als materieller Ausdruck ungefilterten Fühlens. Das Ergebnis: eine Porträtserie, in der Kostüm zur Architektur der Emotion wird und den Glanz des Glamours zugunsten von etwas bewusst, kraftvoll Entblößtem verweigert.
