A Fantasy Story

In beinahe vollständiger Dunkelheit fängt die Haut Licht wie Porzellan unter Bühnenscheinwerfern – Lederkorsagen geschichtet mit Federn, eine gotische Fantasie ohne Farbe, aber schwer von Textur. Eine vergoldete Brosche umschließt ein wachsames Auge, das einzige Relikt von etwas einst Lebendigem. Die Inszenierung erinnert zugleich an viktorianische Trauerporträts und zeitgenössische Avantgarde: erstarrt, haptisch, verstörend.

In near-total darkness, skin catches light like porcelain under stage floods—leather corsetry layered with feathers, a gothic fantasia stripped of color but heavy with texture. A gilded brooch cradles a watchful eye, the only relic of something once living. The staging recalls both Victorian mourning portraiture and contemporary avant-garde: frozen, tactile, unsettling.
