Agente Dupla
6 August. 2022 - Exclusive Editorial
The project was created during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and deals with the dynamics we lived during that period. Everyday activities like grocery shopping or simply leaving the house became little missions we had to accomplish during the day. The project also addresses questions related to the disconnection between our “true selves” and the virtual personas we create on the internet, the dependency we develop on the screens around us as well as the mental exploration we are conditioned by the algorithms that govern social media.
Concept, Photography and Editing by Max Rocha Styling by Sabrina Pessoa & Max Rocha Makeup & Model by Eduardo Costa
Fashion by Thrifted, My Closet Jack, Zara, Off-White, Hering, Eat Me!, Adidas Brasil and Luisa Farani

Parasites
1 June. 2022 - Exclusive Editorial
The Parasites project depicts the current ecological problems through staged photography and video. It is inspired by the UN sustainability goals and included the 'white collection' from CSM students which is all based on upcycling and recycling. The group of dancers on the visuals connects in body movements and poses. In the final installations, they create one form, one organism and from this a parasitic shape emerges. Intrinsically, the parasite feeds on his host and by this action, he disrupts the host’s abilities and functions. This brings the author to an analogy to the relationship between the human and the environment, where the nature is in many occasions harvested for the gain and financial profit. The project then poses questions: Are we as humans parasites of the Earth? Can we connect as a group and make positive changes to live in symbiosis between each other and the nature? The author believes that we can all contribute to live in harmony and make the world a better place for us and the environment by making action and even small everyday changes.

Birth of Freak
2 January. 2022 - Exclusive Editorial
The boundaries we want to overcome is the body insecurities. The standards for beauty are strict. You can't be fat, you can't be too thin, you can't be too tall, but you can't be too short. However, no one can determine their appearance from birth. We just live as heaven sets us. The image of villain we created in this editorial is strongly expressing, “I was just born like this, and there's no problem! I am proud to be a freak.”

Not Alice
20 December. 2021 - Exclusive Editorial
Have you ever lost yourself in your own consciousness? Have you ever felt how is it to be a guest on a parade of your own dreams, suppressed wishes, hidden emotions and tireless searches? Not Alice is an invitation for an event. It’s an enigmatic fashion story when the whole world is unraveling like an enormous machine. Protagonist A. is responsible for setting everything in that world in motion. She’s vibrant, vivacious, sexy and a bit audacious. She’s confident in her movements in this space. Her interactions with other characters are more like a tactile small talk, where A. is the center of attraction and the host of this party. Only that this party is happening in her head. Characters’ costumes made by fashion designer DOKUCHAEVA and turned into a unified picture by costume designer Anya Guseva and her team GOOSEVA KOMANDA. Every outfit was made by hand, every material, fabric, and furniture were selected with great attention to details, many of them were bought on a vintage flea markets or taken from old, completed dresses. Vibrant looks flicker like a light through a kaleidoscope. It’s not a collection in a regular sense, it is a designer’s journey through fairytales she was told in her childhood. A little bit of nostalgic grief about thing long gone but not forgotten, like mom in a red dress on her own wedding, red spotted teacup from grandma’s china, abundance of bright prints and peculiar, angled forms in parent’s wardrobe.

Refraction
19 October. 2021 - Exclusive Editorial
We've all wondered what lies beneath the ocean when we are floating on top, there's a sense of curiosity of what lies beneath. Similar to the game 'guess what's in the box', our minds naturally conjure up worst case scenarios as we are afraid of the unknown - 'Refraction' therefore uses bodies of water as an exploration of this notion.

Fragments
18 October. 2021 - Exclusive Editorial
With a semi-dystopian back-drop Fragments is an experimental fashion film that explores the importance of human connection and the importance of information exchange. Post-pandemic as we all were coming out of lock-down, I found myself in conversations that were very insightful. I had been reuniting with some old friends and I soon realized that a large amount of the conversations I was having had a gem or something remarkable to take away. Each exchange had a piece to make me a better person, a piece to make me wiser, stronger, safer. Within every conversation, I was collecting Fragments.
