Boxer Boy
15 March. 2023 - Exclusive Editorial
Boxing, with its focus on physical force and violence, is predominantly associated with hegemonic masculinity. The boxing ring mostly functions as a zone for fighting between 'real men', it is aversive to anything feminine and homosexual. As a photoshoot team consisting of queer men, we distance ourselves from toxic masculinity and attempt to deconstruct and queer its traditional images. In this editorial, brutal is transformed into campy, aggressive - into vulnerable, violent - into kinky. We place the figure of a boxer at the intersection of irony, eros, melancholy and spectacle, suggesting a different way of looking at the gendered body in the context of sport.

Impressions of dental patients
14 March. 2023 - Exclusive Editorial
Everyone hides their emotions through masks, while "the disease enters from the mouth" and protects themselves through mouth masks. Inspired by the industrial sense of mechanical industry emanating from the epidemic in recent days, from the dentist as a point of entry. I.Chewing Gum and The Sea
This series of photos celebrates femininity by blending the adolescent aesthetics of our era and the traditional image of Venus, goddess of beauty and fertility. The chewing gum, nails and pink shows this super feminine and sassy image of the “girly girl” that was represented the contemporary media, and that for so long was seen poorly by society. While the pearls, the green and the attitude of the girls represent that beauty and historical power of women as goddesses. In this series of photos I seek to put on the same level the teenager who chews gum and paints her nails and the goddess who comes out of the sea and creates life. Because at the end of the day, they are. Growing up as a female in a world where the adolescent girl is painted as a shallow, stupid girl who only cares about her looks is weird and uncomfortable. It's important to remember that young girls, whatever they do and whatever they like, are full of power, strength and beauty, and that nothing and no one should discredit them.

II.OC Upcycling
Océane Lemesre (H•E•P Vintage) is a french fashion designer focusing on an up-cycling process. She creates only 100% recycled pieces, whether it’s from old fabric and clothes, or other material such as plastic. She gets inspiration from the street, and is also a spray artist. The model and styling was Océane herself, while these two set-ups were inspired by her universe and ideas: old materials, flashy colours and the street aesthetic.

III.Sofía among Flowers
This photo series was taken in a dried flower shop, showcasing a traditional and country-like femininity. The traditional and hand-made aspect are shown by the handmade sweater by french fashion designer Marion D, and the cyanotype process that complements the digital photos.

Rehap
12 March. 2023 - Exclusive Editorial
We live in a world of rushed ideas, a world of fast pace and constant stimulation, in a reality that keeps bombarding ever stronger images, sounds, emotions and thoughts; experiences that have ended up removing humanity from the body and separating the soul from existence, leading to the complete abandonment of the relationship of the 'I' with the 'I', and the total ignorance of the devilish weights or the angelic keys that define our human dichotomy. Taking into account the modern problem of the abandonment of the soul, the body and the 'I', we direct this editorial to represent the reality of the bodies that experience the causes and also the consequences, such as living anxiety and depression in a world that is already chaotic. So, the questions arise, can we adapt to living in the midst of chaos? Is peace of mind achieved in such a stimulating reality? Despite not knowing if there is a definitive answer or a strict path to reach that peaceful Eden, it is important that as a first step we define our position within the chaos, and the importance of not only recognizing it, but allowing ourselves to fluctuate with it, from our state of mind, to the sway of the body. Understanding emotions is important to discover who we are or want to be in this life; You have to admit that nothing is permanent. For us there is the key, our mental states will always be in a constant flux of change and in the midst of this impermanence being able to be mutable allows the light transit of each mental state.

Beneath The Skin
10 March. 2023 - Exclusive Editorial
Our bodies carry the weight of our past and present. Our clothes connect us to ourselves and others, some part of us that is unspeakable and incomprehensible. These parts of us can be revealed through clothing, but are also palpable to us through our skin – we feel a certain way in some pieces, and we feel a certain way when we are without them. Regardless, what connects us is our bodies, and we communicate what is unspeakable through the forms of bodily and sartorial expressions.

Stretch
7 March. 2023 - Exclusive Editorial
A study of materiality in a very literal sense: how materials stretch and bend, how various surfaces reflect and transmist light, the frictions between them. Somewhat mechanical and cold, but deeply human at the same time: after all, this is the most basic foundation of our experience and feeling. If there is any truth about the world, it's to be found in the arrangements of atoms from which we're build.

Levels of Femininity
2 March. 2023 - Exclusive Editorial
“So, what is femininity? Is it in physical or mental form?
Reflecting on this choice, we have chosen 4 models: 2 drag performers, a young girl and a pregnant woman. Wigs, high heels and bright makeup — of course, this project couldn’t exist without charisma in the incredible reincarnation of performers. A young girl in two forms: a Newton sexy woman and a young, natural girl. Inner infected or inner little woman — each one has its own "femininity". And, the apogee of female energy and female principle is a pregnant girl, organic in all forms. The natural essence of femininity in contrast to the observed art and the craving for visible

Gangstas Paradise
27 February. 2023 - Exclusive Editorial
One of the most stigmatized aesthetics has been and continues to be that of the chav / hood girls, because of her social class and her gender. The romantic and sexual life of these women, recently labeled as baddies, bitches, raxets, hoes or shluts in the urban genre, is often questioned, being judged as easy and sexually available girls. Gangsta's paradise is a plea in favor of all women who decide how they want to represent themselves, connect with others and build themselves in their day to day, despite the prejudices and difficulties they may encounter along the way.

The inspiration comes from the status quo of the modeling industry, being selected by an interview agency, being selected by someone in an interview job, competing with hundreds of models for the same job opportunity, being selected by designers and brands, with a monthly income of 0 yuan is the norm, and some models even require Working two jobs to make ends meet, mental illness is the norm. The company and clients ask you to lose weight, the clothes are not suitable, the body is not good-looking on the camera, and you are gradually assimilated and restricted by the standard aesthetics... The world is diverse, and models should have various appearances and figures. Refuse appearance anxiety and recognize it Identify yourself and find out your own position, understand your appearance and advantages. The beauty of a nightmare
22 February. 2023 - Exclusive Editorial
The editorial is an outcome of my own nightmares and sleeping paralysis, where I at a certain point decided to recreate them and face them instead of trying to escape them. I took the horrifying elements of how they trapped me and dragged me into another world, and made it my own. The elegance and goddess alike atmosphere mixed with unsettling elements, turned my biggest fears into something delightful. Here I can rest my eyes.
