In Greek mythology, Lethe was the river of oblivion. It was believed that those who drank from its waters would erase their past lives, allowing them to be reborn. Lethe represents the natural cycle of life, death, and reincarnation.
In this editorial, we explore the emotional journey of a woman desperately clinging to her former self, afraid of being forgotten by those who once admired her. She begins by artificially recreating her past identity, unable to detach from a soul that no longer feels like her own.
As time passes, the light around her begins to dim—until eventually, she fades into oblivion, becoming a shadow of the memory she tried so hard to preserve.
