China is a country rich with heritage, and uses colors symbolically within every ceremony, festival, and ritual.
Culture plays a significant role when it comes to associating symbolic or hidden meanings with different colors.
The color theory is based on these five elements (Metal, Fire, Water, Wood, and Air), and six of the most popular colors in China also correspond to these elements.
Red – Fire
Yellow – Earth
White – Metal
Black – Water
Green – Harmony
Purple – Immortality
After identifying the colors symbolically we decided to pick 6 wild flowers, each one with a different color scheme and textures - to create those 6 looks.
